Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 05:23AM The summer holidays are coming to an end but this area of Cornwall still has a lot to offer in the coming weeks. There is the Morval Vintage and Steam Exhibiton nearby which lasts throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, with loads of actvities, events and stalls.
September is a less busy month as the school holidays are over, but Looe has a walking festival where you can join walks in the area and for the first time this year, a music festival is being organised.
If you want a bit of fun and have an adventurous spirit, why not go to the nearby Adrenalin Quarry and try a ride across on the quarry on the UK's "longest, fastest, highest zip wire" advertised with the slogan "no age limit, no excuses". It's just 3 miles away.
I've recently had a couple of trips to the nearby Eden Project and each time there are new things to see and experience. It just never seems to stay still so it's definitely worth a return visit. It won't be long now before it will have the ice skating rink back again. How time flies!
